Woodlands Checkpoint Hazard

When I woke up, the bus was still on the road, not moving even a bit. The right side of BKE was totally dominated by motorcyclists ( When you see a whole road of heads, you feel irky), their eyes faded down while watching the rain pouring aimlessly on them. It'd been like endless since all of us got stucked here, cars, motorcycles, buses, lorries, human beings.

So I started to blame at the rain. I love rainy days but when it got us into such situation, who would adore then? So I took out my organiser & started scribbling.

When all of us eventually arrived at the checkpoint, there were lots of posters with a guy's picture pasted around the pillars that I couldn't help to get a look on it. His name was Mas Selamat. Weird name, as Selamat brings the meaning of "safe" in Malay. The picture was slightly pixelated.

Please call us immediately if you see him!!!!

I'm like, Wow, who is this dude... But when I reached JB checkpoint, the same thing happened, these wanted posters were everywhere! Like it's having election or something (hahaha... I'm totally irritated by all these, didn't know why)

But when everyone was at home, I kept complaining how the rain caused such strawberry jam at the checkpoint. Babu told me stop biasing the rain, not the fault of it? It's that wanted guy. Mas Selamat.

I freaked off a bit... He was the terrorist that had planned to bombard 7 places of Singapore years ago. Indonesian government caught him & he was brought back to the island, locking him up at a detention centre. & now he'd escaped, while he was in the toilet... No wonder the checkpoint was so much stricter. -_-'''

I had a good laugh, but imagine all about this, my goose pimples all stood up...

Nafa entrance test is over!

Enough of centre parting!! I think Jus couldn't stand it anymore hahaha. ( I intended to post of more to continue laughing at myself)

-_-''' Haiwan kebinggungan...

Ok so here are some recent, non centre parting pictures. & I think I have not taken pictures for so long, not even Chinese New Year! ( Ya, since when the phone & cam were lost)

Rushed to Party World & found the girls all looking furiously at me. & yes, I got a good scolding by them! I swear I seriously, desperately need a phone now! Till now then I realise how important a phone is nowadays. Sorry for being unable to reach me, people, how terribly sorry I am. >.< & I promise I will be contactable soon!

& do ask me about the NAFA test! I think I did quite a great job =D & I really hope I can get into that school soon! The test was fun & impromptu, especially the scrapbooking part, my favourite!

Here I need to say thanks & sorry to ...

Kelly, for always letting me to sleepover at your place after I remained homeless at bloody island. I know it's not very convenient and super paiseh''' But I gotta say thanks for all the while. If not I will sure be late for the test the next day!

PC, for agreeing to lend me his phone when I desperately need help. (Even though I still didn't see him!) & sorry for bothering you all the while you're in class!!

Cas, Wee, Net, Meng, for giving me a fake, foolproof scolding after I made so many mistakes. But thanks I really am so happy to see you guys again after so long. Please take care since nowadays everyone gets sick! & Net your Kuromi notebook! I'd passed to Kel to pass to Wee to pass to you!

Hmm.. & I'm thinking of inviting everyone to my place for a barbeque or steamboat? More like a thanksgiving rather than a party. Hope everyone agrees to bring along the passports, pass the custom & come to my house!!

I think of you only on two occasions, that's day & night...

Last day of cny???

Now then I realise I barely carry my smile facing the cameras! Nor any pouting or funny faces, just an angry grouchy ( not to forget owe-punching) look. As if the cameraman owed me $800k! Can't stop laughing at myself. & goodness I think I wear the same shirt to everywhere?!!!

All were taken at Sabah.

& Goodness, is tomorrow day 15 of Chinese New Year or today? I seemed to mess up the calendar. & I even thought Meng finished her exam today?! Totally mixed up too. Including bainian at Cas's house. This coming Nafa test totally freaks me off!
Wish me luck. * Heart pouding fast*

Friday- meet the girls. Find Pc to borrow his phone if possible
Sat- Art test.
Sun- Meet my 'so-called friend' from Sabah. If possible ( She's a bitch in class last time, my only enemy for art >.<)
Wed- Car test!!!
Thurs- Auyeong's birthday. Jeff's coming back! *Uber joyness*

Had a laugh at the younger me

Zen & I flipped back the dusty old albums & I almost laughed out my lungs. I looked undoubtedly owe-punching. That pair of crooked, round specs, & a head of second hand hair. It was year 2003, when I was in Secondary One. We're at Singapore celebrating Christmas.

& Holy cow that was 6 years ago!

I didn't even smile at the cam! So fat & tai-tai looking. Cannot tahan any longer. You can laugh all the way you want at me now.
& this was during Christmas 2003. My hair resembled nothing but an unwashed mop. & that bullshit eyebrows ( Net & Stella's favourite quotes) freaked me way off a thousand miles!
See, I even look like a ghost!
But come to think about it, I thought I had the most beautiful hair at that point of moment. It's the first time I started to grow my hair longer as we were only allowed to keep short hairstyle at primary school. Didn't everyone has the same feeling before? You thought you look great, but when you turned back to these nostalgic pictures, you felt like puking & had a good laugh at yourself.
I think I enjoyed teasing at myself. It works as an effective reminder & at least it's less hurtful than others critisizing you, prickling you straight to the heart right=)

CNY performance day

I got my butt off the bed real early, just to get ready for the performance later.

Starting by cleaning the canvas , putting ICI paint in great thick layers & piles. Mascara, check. Eyeliner, check. Lipgloss, check. It's been so long since I once again paste on cosmetics liquids on my face, & I thought I did a good job, though.

But when I reached there, Madame Butterfly told me, " Dear, haven't you put on your make up???" I was wondering if she had severe short sightedness or what, cuz I even put on fake lashes ( a gift from mum) that fluttered my peepers so well, which I never did during normal days.

"Oh I have just put on the foundation, madame..." I still didn't quite understand.

Fine, so I just sat down. Madame Butterfly ordered Madame Dragonfly to continue painting (or should I say, to her, I had never started!) on my canvas. And after I opened my eyes again, I almost got the almighty shock of life. Peach red above my eyelids, Blushes on the sides that reminds me of a bimbo seeing hot hunks down the road. & the pouting lips, goodness gracious...

All in all, I look like a geisha.

And when I put on my outfit, it looks alright. I love traditional costumes. But I still can't believe I can look so ' BLOODY red'. I forgot I was performing, dear!!!

=D Killing time to read at my craps right, hope to have a picture of the memorable( horrendous) sight.

I did a lot while waiting for you

I did a lot nowadays. At last I paid attention more to myself. ^-^

1. Clean my room everyday. I have designed a floor plan & starting to decorate the room!

2. My parents agreed that I can have back a pet! Goodyness!

3. I exercise everyday. Including volleyball & basketball.

4. I am preparing my portfolio for my art test! Diligently & full of ideas!

5. I will start back my piano lesson as soon as possible! Now there will be no choice for me but to cut away my nails =(

6. Preparing for tomorrow's cny ceremony at the temple. I was ordered to wear the Qing Dynasty Princess outfit, but the skirt was way too short for me, so Madame Butterfly changed me to the Korean outfit girls. I really love the clothes!! Hope I will do everything perfectly!

Zen's pc is as slow as ever after reformating & I think it's time for me to use back my laptop. Have not open it for years. *Blowing off all the dust*... Can't even draw on the tablet!

... & of course, waiting for him to come back =( to tell him I miss him...

Happy+Lousy Valentine's Day

Wee!! Valentine's Day!!!! What a grrreattTT day!!
.
.
.
valentine's day... what a lousy day

.
.
.
It's more exciting than I expected. It's more dumb than I expected... I planned to go back to Nanyang JC initially, but Auyeong & Hueyjia were out of school so I met them at Plaza Singapura. I bought them planners that I don't even dare to have one myself for so long, made them roses, and of course wrote them a letter! I'm sorry I did not see them for such a long time, but after meeting the girls, I got the feeling like I just bid farewell to them yesterday=D

We rocked Carl's Junior ( Goodyness Mamaa, they have the best burgers ever!), Hang around at Spotlight, Daiso & Made with Love ( My 3 favourite hangouts!!), watched P.S. I Love You ( 3 weird girls crying & laughing despite the whole theatre of couples from all ages), took loads of unglam photos in front of the control station & crowd...

& most of all... I really love them. They rock my Valentine's Day. Hueyjia said if her future boyfriend is going to give her paper flowers, she will kick his dick hard! & Auyeong told me all bout this new schoolgirl who puts thick make up to school yet still claims that's her oh-so-true natural complexion. I don't use to be a typical gossiper. I am more of the ear drum type. But with them, gossiping has become the essential part of the day!

I had no ideas why nowadays phones love to play pranks at their owners, especially when three of us need to take pictures urgently, there they go, one infrared malfunction, one battery gone as flat as pancake. So here goes my low-quality peek-thrus (pardon me), using Zen's phone ( I'm going to get my phone & cam soon, with my own $$!!!)

Puckers for these two honeys

I can always count on the twosomes to transform a lousy Saint Valentine to an unforgettable one. Lousy, yes it is, as in Jeff's absence makes my heart grows fonder, especially today. & I don't care! When he's back, we'll head straight to Sushi Tei!

Let me see, I gave flowers to 25 people, wrote letters to 5 people ( 2 delivery failures). I was planning to knock on the doors of my girls' house but it was too late =( My plan ruined. I even had left flowers I made myself.

...But sad to say I received none. Not even fake ones. Seriously I love fake ones more. What can you do to real flowers anyway? You pluck them out ( ended their beautiful lives), show off among the restaurant and public for that night, and watch them die & wilt the next day onwards. Yet you can't do anything to them. On the other hand, I can put fake flowers in my room as part of the aesthetic appeal of the interior & appreciate them forever.

But that's not the point. I'm just hiding away. cuz I miss Jeff. He's far away and he sprained his ankle, & got his headache. While I'm here, almost voiceless, couldn't do anything to help him ease his pain, & trying to deny that I was so green with envy at all the girls flaunting flowers of short lifespan in the train. Like how each Valentine's Day passed by (except last year...), I watched pretty girls in school getting flowers & presents while I have none... sigh... & till now, I have yet to sigh with sheer disbelief...

=) We went through 2 Valentine's Day.

P.S. I Love You...

I am feeling so down I decided to put up Barney songs... really heartwarming & I love Barney!

Happy Chinese New Year!

When the old years are gone, the new year awaits us.
Like it or not, time just passes by with its own pace.
Like it or not, you have to admit that you're older by a year.
Yet, to celebrate it every year, you'll find blessings...
Blessings that start from the heart within.

*Keep on rubbing my eyes*
I managed to complete six manicures & pedicures for my mum, aunts and my tuition kid, but till the end I couldn't fix one for myself! Blah** Nevertheless, I had a great time at the annual reunion dinner cum Grandpa's birthday.

Tomorrow I will be going to the temple to do some volunteer cooking for the big crowd. It will be a meaningful start of the New Year =) Then we will head to KL to visit paternal grandma and all my cute cousins and aunts and uncles. Yippee!

Followed by a whole list of visits and dates. Can't wait!!!

Happy 15 monthsary!!!

Thanks for everything...
We're far apart now,
but don't worry,
Cuz I see your true colours shining through,
and that's why I love you =)
