Love, and a cough, cannot be hidden

Like what I said in the previous posts, I had a pile of pics waiting to be uploaded. Normally, I will get very lazy to post up all the pics, even if I did think of it initially, I will tend to waste my time. Blog hopped around, chatted with friends, checked emails and orders, and till the end of the night, it was too draggy to post up the pics. But today, NO! I can't be bothered with anything else, cuz maybe I enjoy posting up Mr.Chew's pictures a lot =D * Wide smile* And they never fail to cheer me up!

Woohoo! My chauffeur drove me up to Genting! A suave chauffeur somemore, I love the person only, not the tyres ( Jeff drove a bit too fast I almost got drunk!)

Slow down, sweety, seriously you're tooOOO fast! I will never ever survive driving out of KL next time, with so many such drivers like him. =( Boo..

It's cable car time! I was as excited as a little kid, as for goodness sake, it's been oodles of ages since I got up to one.

His innocent look again. * Melting in front of the monitor teehee=)*

We planned to eat buffet, but eventually, we chose our favourite Sushi King =D!

Unagi rocks to the core!

A very saccharine day. Full of sweetness. I thought I got diabetes.

Good blogging Day

Like how a good hair day/good shoes day/ good art day matter a lot to me, a good day and time to blog is kinda essential too. It's been so long since I got updated online and I wrote 4 posts at one go!

I was so glad that we took more photos this time. Everytime I met Jeff, I was too happy that I forgot my phone cam. And he looked extremely retardedly cute here. By the way, we're at Genting again, which is just behind his house =)

Exclaimed! He's cute =D! I sound more like his fan right?

Taz & Bunny in Raya costumes! Uber cute too!

The bears are all kinda handicapped. Take a look at their eyes!

At last, no stupid uncles inside the cable cars as before. Hahaha. I think Jeff looks SHOOOO CUTE here! **shy shy**

Tell me, I never smoke, but why do I have such dark lips outline? Maybe I drink too much coffee?

Ok, when Jeff comes in, I really gave up. He's PRO at giving unsightly scenes to the cam.

Wahaha. I had a good laugh looking at all these pics.

My Favourite Bumpy Old Train

It was a real big decision I made for myself, a fast and furious one. The politics were a havoc nowadays and yet, right before 916, I decided to take the train up to the city. A girl, big looking yet fragile in mind, seriously I found nothing wrong travelling by myself at the middle of the night.

Fortunately, journeys via trains are so much more secured compared to buses, even though it means you'll have 8 hours of butt-bumping enjoyment. But to me, it's perfectly fine, I even doubt if I'll snore inside the train ( Laugh out LOUD)!

Pathetic me right! I was snuggling comfortably in my bed yet I still forced myself to sketch out something! But it was actually an unusual fun, especially when I was alone.

I was on the upper decker ( How do you say when you're sleeping upstairs of the double decker bed??) and secretly took a picture of this uncle reading his Singapore newspaper=p

Basically, the train is clean ( besides the lavatory), quiet and a nice choice of transportation. Me like me like!

There were a few Caucasians down there, reading our LAT Kampung Boy comics! I felt so touched that the foreigners do appreciate the local art afterall.

Well, if you tell me that trains are really old fashioned and darn slow, you're absolutely wrong. I feel like I'm a backpacker, enjoying the process of the journey rather than haphazardly trying to reach your destination as fast as possible. I mean, what's the point of travelling yeah? My my, I should do more of this!

And right now, you can even book your tickets online! http://www.ktmb.com.my/.

Memories at the little pineapple village

It's my eldest brother's birthday & we decided to have a short trip to Pekan Nanas.
- To get some vege seeds
- To get some more flowers
- To devour the famous durians ( July's the start of durian season) & pineapples there!

Located at Pontian district, this little village is one of the highest pineapple production in the world, regardless of fresh or canned, their apples with pines are undoubtedly the best!

Introducing Aunt LJ, Winnie( Wanling) & OnnOnn ( I forgot his Christian name)

So first up for the trip will be the search of fine quality vegetables seeds. We've gotten some seeds that will never grow from some frustrating sellers in town, so Uncle Yong introduced us to this shop famous for their fresh seedlets! We were told that the seeds should be planted within a week, if not you gotta put them in the fridge=) Interesting info though.

Ain't my mum pretty?

Ok, seriously this birthday boy does not look like a phD scholar in any ways any proportions any perspectives. Still, happy birthday my naughty Coco!!

Their rainbow colours capture my heart! Aren't these tiny feathered creatures the cutest? So next up, we took a brief teatime at a nearby coffee shop. No bread & milo for teatime, but DURIANS.

Here goes all the unglam photos of how people devour the King of Fruits in all sorts of ways.

Aunt LJ is a born joker. All the pictures I took of her today are extremely unglam.

I am no big fan of the porcupine lookalike fruit, but you must try their durians when you're here! Not too slimy, not too strong, not too sweet, the taste's just right.

Oh ya, and the other family group will be Uncle Yong and family who're so kind to take us city-nerds tour around the village.

Pineapples ( of some species) are actually sold at RM1.00 each ONLY.

Unglam Aunt LJ again -_-'''

Ok so this is one slightly humanlike shot.

Little yellow bananas!
After the long afternoon, we went up to Uncle Yong's old house. Two big geese greeted us with their "dinosaur roaring" gackling callings. Believe it or not, Uncle Yong claimed that these two creatures scared thieves away better than the dogs! Not only their voices are attention grabbing, but they will snatch your butt!

Neat vege beds.
Ruff ruff cute shi-tzu
Aunt Yong then taught each of us how to use the rambutan cutter to get some of the ripe red bloody rambutans. When the fruits are not ready to be eaten, the trees & garden will be in a peace. But when red fruits start to blossom, monkeys will set up their homes there! Evil huh!

Recognise the unripe dragonfruit? Even the leaves look like dragon's tail.

Cackle Cackle Cackle! But actually they're kinda cute cuz I like their round butts.
Jie Lan

I had my Hainanese Black Coffee! It tastes heavenly! Seriously Uncle Yong you should kick off Starbucks's oversweetened drinks.

& charcoal baked Kaya Bun. Highly reccommended!

This is how a happy day is formed. Visiting the little village is like reminiscing my life in Sabah. After living in the city for 3 years, I still strongly believe that one day, or when I get old & grey, I will move into a little cottage and just lead a beautiful life there in the village or hills. I thought I can drastically revamped into an IN city girl, but no. Even though my feet step onto the urban areas, my inner child is still a plain Jane kampung girl. I really love that though.

When I first came to Singapore, some people curiously asked me, do Sabahans live on trees & in longhouses? I was a bit annoyed, but if you ask me again this time, I will smile & say, Yes, some do, and it's the best thing in life.
