Mimi ( and everyone else), read this!

This is an encouragement note for Mimi ( and everyone else).

Well, sometimes when I have really nothing to do ( and I really mean it), I will search tenladytoes at google.com. Yes can you believe that I am that hao lian bo la lian?!!! But I just wanna check out how does everyone think about our shoes.

And just last night, I found out something which was encouraging and touching as well.

And here...

And you'll know what I mean. Our effort is proven ;)

Thank you very much to darling Mimi. That pair of shoes are painstakingly done by her bare hands and love.

Oh for goodness sake.

If you've read what's being written above, I've gotta tell you, I was more than just being pissed off. Jo and I were sticking each and every sequins onto our signboard this afternoon. I opened up the Gmail and there was this email from Fleaolics with an irritating message.

" Due to some unforseen circumstances the flea market is being cancelled."

Sounds familiar? Yes, a copy and paste from that bitchAy customer. Due to some unforeseen circumstances I have to cancel my order.

Why is everyone using such excuses??? So an email as easy as that totally ruined our whole plan and days of working to the flea market. The very first time I feel like shouting vulgarities out of my lung and round the world.

So I am now right here, sleepless, trying to think of alternatives to save out this poor scenario.

Jo came over and stayover at my house to get ready for the flea. In the meanwhile, I took a brief photoshoot of her for the shoes. I think I enjoy taking pictures of all my pretty models =)

Yup, everything's there. My favourite white dress ( for Cas's wedding), basket, flower and hat, and of course the model Jo =)

Taken by Zenzen. And of course how can we miss the shoes!

Sorry babe I know you're perspiring like crazy! And guess what, there's only a few of us in the park that early afternoon, perfect timing for mozzies' lunch.

Our signboard is BIG & KIASU. Hahaha which we have totally no idea how it ended up that big. We just cut out according to the ratios and lengths, but seriously you'll never how big the words are here until you see them yourselves.

Nice! I lOike it!

This is only the very small portion of shoes. Others are with Mimi, Shane and Michelle.

Last but not least, we did namecard pegs! Creative huh? To save on budgets, we decided to write our url on the pegs and stick a ribbon and images of shoes on them. The above pegs shown are undone yet. Superdy cute and nice right!!!

So from now on, I will take down pictures of all the process of any of our events as a keepsake. A wonderful idea from Jo. So that we can improve on and also to keep all the memories ^-^
& what happened people? I ask so many of you if we can all go to KL but there's no reply at all???? Sad =, (
Now it's time to my bed and dilemma...

Outing with my favourite twosome : )

Yes the twosomes, 'cause they'll scold me if I say they're twins. And that very day, I kept calling Auyeong as Hueyjia. ( Bangs my head on the wall) and she got very irritated!

It's not a really good day before the two came:
- Super strawberry jam custom
- Bad breath day
- Rain= bad hair day

This is a pair of new shoes for Auyeong : )! Gives me the indie and boho feel, me like me like!

So let's start off with some really funny pictures. We were at Little India and I asked my two lovelies for a quick photoshoot ( so-called). And that's how we ended up.

Laughs!

Missed half of Auyeong's face! OMG I realise we have the shared similarities. All of three of us have deep eyebags! =(

They tear off a few pieces of paper to sit on so that their butt won't get wet. ( After a rain) I love this pic a lot, but how come that piece of paper is sticking out??

Now this is so much better. Later on, we rushed to an Indian shop ( Auyeong's good introduction). And believe me, their eyebrow threading service is only S$5! Fast and professional!

So Hueyjia and I got our eyebrows threaded ( or threatened). Say byeby to bushy eyebrows! Though mine doesn't look much different though =/
And we've so many discoveries today! Before Little India, we went to Chinatown and grabbed down lots of goodies! Things were really cheap there, and I've fallen in love with many bags, especially the strawbags and woodbox kinda bag. Top list right now! And top brands like Clinique, SKII, Estee Lauder, Clarins and Lancome stuff are selling like crazy there. People were just grabbing everything from the racks!
www.alicekwonderland.blogspot.com - This is the cute little shop we've found out! All her clothes are handsewn by Aunty Alice! Kimono inspired too =)
Hoping for more outings with these two cuties. Too bad that Auyeong is heading to Turkey, and Hueyjia to Beijing soon =( I hope I can hide in their luggage so that I can go travelling with them too!

Copycats caught redhanded!

Guess what, some creepy cat is copying Boonga's wonderful shoe art.

See the one below? The copycat draws nicely too, but why can't she draw something different or just modify a bit more??? SO that we can't sense the similarities. STUPID with a big S. Yeah, you thought that changing the bunny to a snail and it's not copyright???

And she's copying mine too. AARGH!!! My poor tea and darling =(

Being drawn to this. I can laugh upon staring all these on the monitor.

And Meng, Meng, Meng!!! You have to see this!!!!! Dream's Elegance is like so 99%alike!

I immediately dropped my jaws when Michelle told me about this. Thanks sweety >=) I feel like being naughty too wahahah.

I should be writing something on the store too some day later. To warn people about this. But seriously we can't help it. If can please do just give some damn small credit can! Even if it's just a sketch, you can just write down who or what you're being inspired of, right??? Now I understand how famous people feel when your artwork is being copied. Feels DAMN SYIOK! Feels like having a sweet revenge! Wahaha!
Ok ok, I'm just kidding. http://badpostured.blogspot.com/ it's her blog, check it out! And I am doing a special review for her heeeeere! How kind of me!

I've got lot to say!

Yayayaya, I know I know. Nowadays all my posts are about the shoes, annoying right? No worries, cuz I'm gonna continue like that this whole month! December, I love you muak!

Seriously don't you just love the last month? You don't have to throw the alarm clock every morning and get up to school, no stupid ridiculous homework and unneccessary ( how do we spell it again? Damn!), no paintings that you don't wanna paint.

All the things just start to wind down and everybody seems to be more blissful and loosen up! And you got to take a break before getting older in a new year ( we get older every year, sigh!!!!)

And I get to do things that I have been longing to accomplish for a very long time. Have a long nice sleep in my bed. Clean and decorate my room. Carry out some gardening. Be pretty and put on makeup and be bimbotic like house bunny. Went to the zoo and beach and picnic. Put on some face mask. Shopping and eating. Gym and kickboxing and aerobics. Volleyball. Bitching and gossiping ( ok I admit, I do this everyday!!! But more in the holidays!) And trying to clear the lists of dates that I owe from so many girlfriends.

It's like OK, you worry less, or maybe you have nothing much to worry about. Less stressful ( Ok, I know Nafa gang, don't remind me about the releasing date of our exam results!) And best of the best, I throw away all the unnnnnecccesssarrrry ( Ok again, I hate this word!) school papers and stuff. They're like the biggest obstacles in the room and shelves. I feel sick when I saw them lying around the place, but I feel SYIOKKKK when I saw them lying inside the rubbish bin.

Ok, I realise I use so many Oks today. You don't mind right? Ok, HAHAHAHAHA.

And plus plus PLUS, Carmen is coming from Australia!!!! Heng and little heng are coming back from Scotland too!!!! I am super duper excited cuz it's always a promise that we all have to meetup at least once a year. I have so many things to prepare before they come!!!!!!!!! OK, I feel like shouting OMG!

So many things to OMG about. Isn't that great? I hope every month is a December. But of course I will miss that hell school that gives so many unnn.... unn...ec.... fine forget that spelling... that gives so many bizarre workloads but a damn lot of wonderful buddies to annoy at.

Last but not least, I manage to get a place for Tenladytoes at the Fleaolics Flea Market!!!

Gigantic image huh? But I don't care! You all have to go OKOKOKOK! Details will be out more soon. Shane, Mimi and I will be drawing the shoes. I can't seem to find Angela =( I need you too! While Joanne and Michelle will be helping out too. Carmen and the 2 Hens will definitely be there too!

Oh no, I should say, people who know me, you ALL HAVE TO COME DOWN.

Like Meng, Visa, Cas and Aiwee,
Hueyjia and Auyeong and Jasmine,
Wenfeng, Bryan, Eza, Johnston and the whole NAFA gang,
Lucie, Sherling, Huimin, Elvis, Yaokhuan and the whole NanyangJC Aep gang,
PC Teo and the Woodgrove gang.
Bring your friends and lovers and relatives and families and pets and enemies here, enjoy your day at the art museum and have fun bargaining at the flea markets!!

-Muaks. Feel my big wet kiss hahaha. ( Ok fine, Jeff is not here and he can't go there!)

For Visa

I owe Visa this pair for such a long time! =x
I hope she will like it. Something really different with a new concept ( ok you can see that), and my sewing skills suck to the core. Mum helped out with the sewing and taught me some too. And what a shame for a daughter of a skillful seamstress!
Not that I don't know a thing or two, just that I returned all of what I'd knew about sewing back to the teacher in secondary school ( Sabah). I was always the last to finish the assignment in sewing class back then. Even the boys were ahead of me haha!
Net, if if if the fur drop off and make you sneeze, I'm so sorry! But I tried my best. Quality checked too =) I wonder if Xiao Rui met problems during her sewing class??
p/s: Bye bye! I gotta improve in sewing for the sake of the shoes!

New creation up!

My very very first attempt to paint and scribble something on wedges! The sketch is kinda terrible, but the final output is good I think! Maybe I should ask Bryan or Johnston to help me to do some photoshoots on this pair!

Or perhaps I should do more heels or stilettos in future. But honestly, they are so much difficult to draw and paint on compared to canvas shoes. & I personally still prefer wearing pumps more cuz this kind of shoes are good to look and good to kill the feet too!

Time to continue that pile of shoes now. Net, your shoes are done. Please provide me your address k =)

Huh, uh-oh I can't think of a title right now...

It was such a LONG MONDAY. Along with the usual monday blues routine, I found it hard to complete the still life drawing. BAD monday. BAD still life day. BAD drawing day. Yet as usual, I enjoyed school a lot with the crazy souls around the studio.

I thought I would have a good rest since there's no class on Tuesday and Hari Raya's on Wednesday, but all of a sudden, I urged myself to sms Miss Ho ( Photography lecturer), to plead her to give Angela and I one last chance to redo our pinhole images.

And guess what, she said yes! How good can she be!!!

But that also indicates that I will have a hectic day!

Yup, sound so 'chim' for the pinhole cameras right? This Milo tin is supposedly our DIY cameras, sprayed entirely black internally, choose an ideal location, and take a picture for a minute.

It was really fun, and I would love to try it again next time, but it turned out that our 'cameras' had some problems and all the images that we took turn out in black. & I mean ALL.

''''-__-'''''

Thank goodness we had each other that day. I was all alone in the dark room at first, which turned out to be quite scary. Mimi came and helped out later. Thanks for the photo paper and your wonderful help honey! =)

And yes guess what again, Angela agreed to become my shoe model! Hahaha! I've been pulling the dudes around to help out. If I own a SLR, I will take almost everyday cuz you'll get addicted taking pictures ( of others), like seriously!

Okok, please don't laugh at my shots skills if you think they're not good, but I was having so much fun with this pretty model and everything turned out well =)! Angela looked a bit stiff at the last pic, but all in all the shots are gorgeous!

****

On another note, I've been doing a lot of self reflection nowadays. I think of what people told me in the bus, I think of what I thought of in the ladies', I think of what should I do in my slumberland.

Can't you agree more that each of us is something of a schizophrenic personality, tragically divided against ourselves?

I really couldn't agree more. I thought I was always calm and steady internally ( you may see me as a crazy person on the outside), but that day one little old man reminded me about my stubbornness, regardless of anything. I was quite ignorant about it. Yet, when I sat down and reflected back, my mind coincided with all the previous doggedness I had at all times....

Kinda abstract and surreal, should not elaborate more here. Straight and forward, sometimes I thought I'm not stubborn, but actually I'm stubborn at alot of things, in a manner of pros and cons. Got it? Tell me too if you have such feelings.

After reading the tags from everyone, I teared again. You guys rock! One day I should post out stories behind the names I heard of so that we all can feel proud of what's being given as blessings when we're born!

Sudden Jusco trip + TLT photo shoot

Hello there homo sapiens, or whatever creature around here =)

1. Happy Belated Birthday to Miss Visa!
2. Happy Holiday for Meng to Thailand!
3. Happy Holiday for Aiwee to Sri Lanka!
4. Happy Holiday for Me to nowhere!

But I'm planning to check out the train schedule tomorrow so that I can grab my tickets to KL.

& about the lost of my wallet, I hope the thief ( which is YOU) will read this post and yes, I really wish to curse you to death, but I just want back my S$80+, IC, atm & debit card, last but not least my precious notes & pictures =( You made me stoning at the police station for one whole afternoon and they punished me 200bucks for losing my IC.

Damn. Still gotta settle my bank cards yet. What trully matters is that I lost my neoprints with Jeff and a miniature note from Shane. ( Deep sigh in dismay**)

Right after the day I lost my wallet ( Outside the study area of school library, beware people, students are actually THIEVES!), Joanne & Joseph gave me a visit. It's like a temporary therapy for me, and how glad I was that they came and look for me. Hence, I postponed all my tuition classes and decided to be an irresponsible teacher once in a blue moon. I even brought along Winnie, my student along.

I drove the guests to JJ Jusco, got lost along the road, almost headed up to KL, while trying hard to survive on the road dealing with some ferocious lorry drivers.

Camwhoring in the toilet. Jo bought a Topman male's shirt for only RM49. I regretted for not buying it! And the maxi dress from Myshoppingsprees looked marvelous on her.

Winnie had helped me to move my house previously and I treated her a Starbucks drink. Aren't kids easy to feel contented=)?

Bad eyes day! My left eye couldn't terminate its tearing, and Joseph's specs save my day. I look like a housefly definitely, have been trying to find the best specs for so many years yet in vain.

Joseph, Jeff's only male friend from KL in Singapore. A funny guy to get along with. I think all KLians are humourous actually.

These two had been playing the whole day =)

Coincidentally, Jo was wearing her canvas pumps. I was desperate to look for some model shots for Tenladytoes, and she was my model for the day!

Perfecto! I love all the shots! My model's gorgeous isn't she?
